My day in... Utrecht King's Day edition!

Hello everyone! Yesterday was King's day here in the Netherlands! Today I'm going to show you a little bit of our Dutch culture! I was in Utrecht (middle of our little country) and took some nice snapshots!

Two years ago our queen Beatrix stopped with being queen. Her son Willem Alexander became king. Before King's day we had Queen's day. Our second year King's day! Typical: Orange everywhere, street markets, music and many people!

Utrecht is a beautiful place to spend King's day! Street markets surrounded by boats and water!

An almost quite street (love the green and white!)

Orange everywhere!

Tulips peaking out!

Bikes! Typical haha!

For lunch almost the best pizza ever! Perfectly cheesy and amazing tomato sauce! LOVE! (at pizza stand Mario Oudegracht 130-132, 3511 AX Utrecht)

Yes Utrecht, I love you!

Students.... (beer) Fun fact: next to me there were standing 5 other photographers and a lot of people were laughing! (the people in the boat are probably their friends (hope so)).

And after a day of walking through Utrecht surrounded by people wearing nothing else but orange, blue, white and red. We decided to go back home with a warm stroofwafel (syrup waffle).

Oh god heaven....

And of course my t-shirt from Hema! Love it! The flag detail is so cute! It says King's day. Next King's day will be on April 27th! As always because of Willem Alexander his birthday!

Happy Birthday Willem!

(little hooray, in two months I'll turn 16!)

I'll see you all soon!
