Paris Adventures part 2

Food in Paris, yes those French know what good food is. Fancy pastries, croissants, red wine. In this blogpost I'll tell you what I think about Ladurée macarons, and maybe share something about the best pasta I've ever had! I'm sorry if this blogpost makes you hungry ;)

Ladurée, the famous store that sells the original French macarons. I had never eaten macarons in French before, I had them once from the supermarket here in the Netherlands. And since my mother enjoys baking quite a lot, I had tasted the ones she made as well. She made them once with a yogurt filling, really tastes like heaven to me. So I had high standards for the original French ones... I was a bit disappointed however, my mothers macarons are better than the ones from Ladurée... When I get hold of my mothers macaron recipe I'll share it here on my blog ;)

If you are interested in the original fancy French macarons, here's the address!

Ladurée, 75 Av. des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France

After a long day of walking, me and my friends were in the mood for Italian food. We walked through our neighbourhood and found a nice Italian restaurant. When I saw a salmon pasta on the menu I jumped. It was a delicious creamy pasta, with really good salmon. I would love to have the recipe so I can make it myself! The pesto pasta looked delicious as well.

Here's the address!

Café Botelli, 55 Boulevard Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris, France

Now that I'm done with this post, I'll probably eat some macarons that my mother just made. I hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time!
