Since the surgery my body has changed a lot which meant that I had to clean out my closet. I donated a bag full of clothes already but found that some of the higher quality pieces should get another life. I also realised how much waste we make as humans when it comes to fashion...
And I was devastated by it. So I went online and started selling some of my clothes on United Wardrobe (click here for my shop) and found a whole community of people selling their second hand clothing. I love it! From now on I want to invest in high-quality items or else shop second hand or vintage. Making the fashion industry more sustainable is important to me now. I just didn't realise before how big the problem was (until I could fill a whole trash bag withe it myself). I do think keeping it affordable is important tho! I don't have money growing on my back but I would rather keep a good quality shirt for years than a bad t-shirt for a bit.
By the way! This is a brand that sells high quality and sustainable clothing mostly made in the UK and they are quite affordable as well:
Lucy & Yak, they sell super cute dungarees and have a wide collection of vibrant sustainable clothing!
I would like to know your opinion on the fashion industry! And if you know some cool sustainable brand let me know as well.
Thank you for reading! See you very soon!
Sincerely,
Anna
