SKINCARE ROUTINE CYSTIC ACNE OVARIAN CYST REMOVAL SURGERY BY ANNA TWENTY SEVEN

Hello hello! In this blogpost I am sharing my skincare routine as well as how I got from normal skin to cystic acne and back to normal skin! My skin journey has been rough and now that I have fount the perfect routine for MY skin, I thought it would be nice to share!

Okay first I'll have to talk a bit about my skin journey. About a year ago and basically through all of my puberty years I have had oily skin with at some times a little bit of acne. This changed in August of 2019 when my skin started to act up. A few months later (november 2019) I had some cystic acne which I thought was really weird! When in December of 2019 I found out that I had a large ovarian cyst which would have to get removed through surgery, my cystic acne started to go crazy. A few days before the surgery I couldn't bare to look at my face anymore and every move in my face hurt. I had hopes that my cystic acne would start going down as soon as my surgery was done. And indeed, the surgery helped my skin A LOT, I think the hormones in my body just went crazy when I had the cyst. Now, almost 4 months later my face is not yet back to normal. But I am getting there. The trick that I had to learn was to keep it simple with my routine!

And the funny thing is, the products that work best for me are super low budget! These products are from Lidl! Now that mothers-day is coming up they are selling them again. These are limited edition but just work so well!

What my skincare routine looks like now (May 2020):
Morning:
Wash my face with a light face wash. (Dr Van Der Hoog)
Put Cien cellular day cream on my face (and sometimes some extra sunscreen).
Evening:
Wash my face with a light face wash. OR a deeper cleanser/peeling for my acne.
Put Cien cellular night cream on my face as well as the Cien cellular eye mouse under my eyes!

Other new products from Cien cellular beauty I will test soon. So let me know if you would like to hear more about them!

The BIGGEST lesson when it comes to a good skincare routine is seeing what your skin needs. I always had oily skin so it was a bit of a surprise to me that my skin needed to be moisturised better to heal from cystic acne! I hope you liked today's post!

What does your skincare routine look like and what products do you use? Let me know!

Until next time!
Sincerely,
Anna
